TONY MIKLA

TONY MIKLA

Tony is a leading sports physical therapist, performance coach, and researcher. He speaks and teaches nationally on sports physical therapy and regularly publishes research in international journals. Tony previously served as the Physical Therapy Manager at the world-renowned EXOS in Phoenix, AZ, working with some of the best athletes in the world. He was the Medical Director for the Sacramento Sports Commission and adjunct faculty in Physical Therapy at Sacramento State University and Northern AZ University. In 2015, Tony was named a finalist for the NSCA Sports Medicine Specialist of the Year and was awarded the 40 Under 40 Award from the Sacramento Business Journal in 2017.

An accomplished sports physical therapist, strength coach, and researcher, Russ comes from a martial arts and strength athlete background. After his academic years, which include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Physical Therapy, he pursued becoming a StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor to complement his Sports Medicine Physical Therapy focus. As an academic, he is published and active in research. As a PT, he is deeply involved in his patient’s successes, and as a coach, he leads groups of both young and professional athletes to better their total body performance, strength, and conditioning. Russ is the Sports Medicine Coach for the UFC Hall of Fame, Urijah Faber, and Team Alpha Male.

Aaron Crouch is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and KIME High Performance Sports Medicine Fellow. A former NCAA Division I baseball player, Aaron brings his passion for movement and performance into every aspect of his work. His background in elite athletics fuels his commitment to helping patients and athletes achieve resilience, strength, and long-term success. Aaron has worked with organizations including the San Francisco Giants, USA Track and Field Championships, and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), giving him broad experience across professional and high-performance environments. He is also a dedicated educator—teaching for KIMEU, RockTape, and other professional organizations—where he trains clinicians and fitness professionals in advanced techniques that bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. Through his work at KIME, Aaron combines clinical expertise, strength training, and education to optimize human performance and inspire lasting results.

EVAN HAUGER

EVAN HAUGER

Evan specializes in sports physical therapy, strength, and conditioning. He knows the ins and outs of injury from years of personal experience. Growing up, he was a multisport athlete and went on to play baseball at Shasta College. Through multiple personal injuries related to his athletic career, Evan realized that he had a passion for improving the way people move and enhancing their performance in sport and life. Also, a StrongFirst Certified Level 1 instructor, Evan earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacramento State University and has worked with athletes of all calibers, including MLB, NFL, NBA, UFC, and Olympians. He has also spent time with some of the best minds in sports physical therapy in Boston, MA, been a medical team leader for the USA Track and Field National Championships, assisted with NFL combine training at EXOS in Phoenix, AZ, and been the performance coach for a group of Olympic athletes.

DREW REID

Drew is an experienced sports physical therapist with a special interest in plyometric training and working with jumping athletes. His background in track and collegiate basketball helped lead him to the field ofphysical therapy. He enjoys helping others heal through movement and perform at their best. In 2022, Drew served on the medical staff at the World Athletics Track and Field Championships, caring for Olympic-level athletes in Eugene, Oregon. After playing basketball in Junior College, he finished his undergrad degree at Central Washington University, then received his Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific.

JONATHAN SANBURG

JONATHAN SANBURG

Jonathan is a Sports Physical Therapist and Performance Coach. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University with an emphasis on return-to-play for athletes. He is a Sacramento native who grew up playing soccer at the highest youth levels and completed his career at Gonzaga University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. He has a strong background in transitioning youth and elite-level athletes from injury to optimal performance, having been immersed in physical therapy and performance training at the world-renowned EXOS and Champion Physical Therapy and Performance, working with NFL, MLB, MLS, and our country’s most elite military personnel. Coupling these clinical and academic experiences with his past shoulder and knee injuries, Jonathan has a strong appreciation and love for guiding patients from injury to return-to-play. In his free time, Jonathan continues to enjoy playing soccer and is an outdoor enthusiast, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking.

Niko is an expert in Performance Physical Therapy, human movement, and strength and conditioning. These passions started in Boise, Idaho where he was a multiport athlete and continued on to play collegiate soccer at Whitman College. From there his education took him to Provo, UT where he received a Doctorate of Physical therapy from Rocky Mountain University. Niko understands each person as a whole and is motivated to help everyone create a path to achieve their own peak performance. Niko is continually learning and educating himself on advanced tools and techniques so that he can bring cutting edge resources, tools and research to his patients. When not working, Niko and his wife can be found enjoying the surrounding area hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and skiing.Â
