Who this is for
Built for tactical athletes β police, fire, and military personnel. Whether you show up alone or bring three teammates, you're scored the same way on the individual events. The relay is what separates a squad from a solo entry.

Four athletes, each registering individually under the same shared team name. Departments entering multiple teams should use a different name for each four-person team. Unlocks the Rescue Relay and puts you in the running for both team titles.

What you'll be doing
Each event measures a different component of tactical performance. Results are evaluated using the eventβs established scoring standards and contribute to the Individual Champion and Overall Team Champion standings.
Individual β Scored
A timed isometric trunk hold measuring posterior core endurance β one of the strongest predictors of low back injury risk in tactical work.
Timed isometric hold
Individual β Scored
Two minutes. Max reps. Raw upper-body pushing endurance, scored against age- and gender-adjusted standards.
2-minute max reps
Individual β Scored
Five 50-meter shuttles β sprint, 150 lb rescue dummy drag, lateral shuffle, 40 lb kettlebell carry, sprint β with heart rate recovery captured one minute after you finish.
5 Γ 50m + HR recovery
Individual β Scored
A single, all-out, electronically timed sprint. Straight-line speed that translates directly to foot pursuits and rapid deployment on scene.
Electronically timed
Beyond the competition: every athlete completes an untimed, unscored baseline assessment battery. These measurements contribute to your personalized scorecard, not your competition placement.
We measure force, speed, and reaction on forceplates.
Spinal mobility relevant to the demands of tactical work.
Shoulder strength and range of motion β a key injury-risk marker for tactical populations.
The team event
Four-person teams. One leg per athlete. One team time. Each leg is a full out-and-back: run to the task, complete it, run back to the start β then the next teammate goes. This is the closest thing to the real job you'll find in a competition setting. Each athlete will wear a weighted vest during their relay leg. All competition equipment is provided.
Run out, complete the stair climb wearing a weighted vest and carrying a medicine ball throughout the leg, then return to your team.
Pass / failRun out, pry open the door with a Halligan, then return to your team.
Pass / failClear the obstacle clean and head back.
Pass / failBackward overhead medicine ball throw. Clear the standard distance in up to two attempts, or your team takes a fixed time penalty and moves on.
Scored on distanceFour completed individual registrations are required for a relay team. Coordinate with your teammates before event day and use the same team name when registering.
Scoring & champions
Top-3 finishers in each individual event earn points. Those points follow you into your team's total, which means nothing you do all day is throwaway.
01
Highest combined point total across the four individual events. No team required to win it.
02
Fastest adjusted Rescue Relay time. One run, four athletes, one clock.
03
Highest combined point total across every individual and team event β the day's biggest crown.
What you take home
Every athlete gets a personalized Operational Readiness & Injury-Risk Scorecard, built from real performance data collected across the morning β your baseline battery, your core endurance hold, and your heart rate recovery from the Sprint-Drag-Carry.
It's not a ranking sheet. It's a picture of where you're strong, where you're exposed, and what to work on next β benchmarked against tactical athletes, not the general population.
